Hi, i'm wondering how to change pickguard on a p-bass. Do you have to remove the knobs? and if thats the case, is that difficult? :?: English isn't my first language, so...

Welcome.

Yes, you have to remove the knobs. You will also have to unscrew the the nut from the volume control, tone control and output jack. This will free them from the pickguard. None of this is difficult.

No. You just have to be careful lifting the pickguard away from the bass body as sometimes, the volume, tone and output jack and their washers tend to stick to the foil on the back of the pickguard. You should gently remove the pickguard and then, gently remove these controls.

The pickup does not have to be removed to change the pickguard. Again, you want to gently remove the pickguard and its components so you do not separate any wires.
