Hi,
I'm a very small person so I'm looking for a small bass, something lightweight with smaller frets ...
I currently have a Mike Dirnt Precision Bass (though I don't like greenday at all) and I really enjoy playing it but I'd like to have a second Bass which makes playing a little bit more pleasant for me. Can anybody recommend me a bass like that?

thanks in advance,

Chas

You should give the mustang bass a try, or an old musicmaster bass if you can get your hands on one. They're both great short scale basses, lightweight, with and have less space between the frets than a full scale bass.

The Mustang looks great in white or Fiesta Red. Nice bass.

ALSO, besides the old Musicmaster there was also a Fender BRONCO. The only Bronco available now is the Squier though. The original Fender Bronco bass had a Stratocaster pickup on it as I recall. They put a plastic cover over it. They also made a Bronco bass amp too.

hi, you will be considered lucky if you can find a Precision Bass Lyte Series.
it's been discontinued long ago...it comes with a p/j pickup configuration. it's active and extremely light. i like light basses..but unfortunatley i dont like active basses. so if u like the active sound.....i strongly suggest that bass. ive tried it 2 yrs ago in a music shop and i was shocked by the non-weight.
