When do the 2010 Fenders come out?
I'm wondering if we're going to see a change in the color line-up.

I think the Fender model year traditionally runs on the fiscal year of July 1 through the following June 30th. That may have changed, but July used to be when production changes were implemented including any color changes. The Anniversary Special Limited Editions and some Custom Shop introductions have been exceptions to that.

Most music companies introduce new products at the NAMM trade show, which is in late January. You might search around the web to see if any previews have been released.

True, but you can't actually buy them until July. The NAMM demos are short runs of a handful of instruments which mere peons like me can not buy until mass production begins.

Are you sure it's always in July when they're available? In 2008 when the American Standard line came out on January 1, they were available about 3 months later. I know 'cus I bought mine then. Maybe that was the acceptation to the trend.
