Contacting the Custom Shop with Custom Shop questions would be a good start.
Or try ReRanch.

If you get the official word from the Custom Shop that they can not refinish it for you, don't despair. There is no shortage of competent and experienced guitar refinishing people.

Do-it-yourself refinishing is the last thing I'd recommend because it hardly every has the intended outcome. Reranch makes great products but refinishing takes lots of preparation, patience and skill. But above all else, it takes experience.

Being a Fullerton instrument, I'd hope you could afford professional refinishing. If cost is a top concern, of all the top shops Mark Jenny is probably the value leader. He advertises $295 for Butterscotch, Blonde and Custom Colors. He also charges $150 to strip a poly coated body but since you are to bare wood that isn't a problem. .

I've got a whole list of refinish shops listed on my website. Click the link in my forum signature below then click on the red link for "REFINISH, RESTORE & MAJOR REPAIR." Gord Miller, Mark Jenny, Curtis Novak, Sims & Lays all have busy shops for a reason.

Curtis Novak will NOT refinish any guitar that has the original finish on it, but again since it is already stripped he will repaint it.
