Hello,

I am wanting to touch up my P-Bass now that i finally have a bit of money to spare. Here are some pictures of it that i took today (sorry if they're a bit big):

What I'm wanting to do is this:
- Maybe buy it a new pick guard, a black one. Would that look tacky? I saw a picture of one and i thought it looked pretty cool: http://www.guitar-emporium.com/photos/4627B.jpg

- I also want to get some straplocks, does anyone have any recommendations as to which i should buy?

- If anyone has any suggestions for me and what i should do to my bass, i would be more than happy to hear them. I want to really make my bass as best as i can, and i obviously don't know of everything that's out there for basses.

Thanks alot!

Schaller straplocks and I think a tort would look good. I also don't like the stock pups on the HW1, I personally would switch them to duncans or barts. Or maybe even 500k pots.

Yep, Zod's!! If you want to stay white pg, go with pearloid - I've been eyeing one for my '99. I'm not a fan of pg personally. As for pups - it's your call, what sound/style/even amplification setting you have. Good luck, have fun!!

Your Highway 1 turned out nice. I have a 2007 model which came standard with the Bass $@! II Bridge so I was lucky in that respect.
