Wait, you paid 699 for a mexi p bass? Or is that after the upgrades. If so you got ripped off....

I certainly can think of many interesting basses for that price, it just depends on what kind of sound you want. Also keep in mind just because you put 350 in doesn't necessarily mean you'll get that back when you sell it...

Umm ya i paid $699 new... this was right after fender raised up their prices...

I do realize that i might not get that back but its just nice to put out there so people know that its nicer than the original...

Thanks for your feedback...

Aaaaaaah, ok, I didn't realize you live in Canada. I don't know how different the prices are there, but that could explain the difference. And yeah, 100 more isn't the end of the world. However, keep in mind that in the states a new one after the price raise goes for 600, and you need to keep that in mind if you intend on re-selling it.

Again, there's no need to trade for another axe unless there's something bothering you about your current model or there's something else you want. So, what exactly do you want to get out of a new instrument? I can help you find something as long as I know what you're looking for.

Hey Rooba, do the American tuners just screw right in on the MIM headstock? Just curious, I was thinking about doing this to my bass.
