I need a CHROME Badass III bridge to finish up my '51 RI P-bass. Naturally they were everywhere a month ago, but became scarce at the precise moment I needed one. If anyone has one they would like to sell contact me using the contact email on my website in my signature below. Thank you.

Hey, Dave - Leo's home website is not listing the chrome B-A III in the price list at the moment.

I wonder if they suspended production for some reason ?... Just a guess, but I have seen some ralatively new chrome bridges that are flaking and peeling. Could have a chrome quality control issue that they are working through - again... JUST a guess.

Thanks for the info and for finding the nickel the one on eBay. I was not aware of the flaking chrome issue.

Before initially posting I went to Leo Quan's site and The BA III bridge was not even listed on their product page. It seems like they discontinued it to me. Funny that 3 weeks ago you could finc all you wanted about everywhere then when I needed one....POOF! All gone!
Thanks again.

Yeah no worries mate. I actually have a Badass III on my Squier Affinity lol. It was my first good bass after owning THE WORST BASS EVER THE EPIPHONE EB-0. And being a stupid bass player at the time thought that because 3 is a higher number then 2 that it was better than the 2. I had to drill 3 new holes in myself lol. Anyways good luck with the bridge.

brotherdave,
rumor mill has it that Leo Quan is going out of business....according to this forum:

http://www.fenderforum.com/forum.html?d ... 1011:18:19

...if you still need one and find one, used or otherwise, it might not be a bad idea to snap it up. Prices have almost doubled on ebay in the past month.
