I've got an old Marshall B30 bass amp that I use for practising with. Its starting to 'play up', the sound fades in and out at random.

Can somebody point me in the right direction of a schamatic diagram for this amp - I've had a search but can't seem to find anything.

Thanks in advance for some help.

Good stuff Dedmouse!

It looks like it's the correct one, I'll open the amp over the weekend and double check the components against the diagram.

Thanks!!!!!! :D :D :D :D

You have NO IDEA how glad I am that my site helped you out.

I'm just trying to pay back the help people have given me over the past 40 plus years of playing Fender basses. Good Karma is it's own reward...and I REALLY do have a LOT of Karma to pay back. I have been so blessed!

Play it. Just PLAY it! But be sure to play it your OWN way!

Well may your good karma be doubled as i'm using the guages to accurately shape a 1 piece compensated bone nut for another forum user, who's having trouble with a telecaster. It has proved to be an ideal tool. Shaping the bottom of the nut is easy, shaping the bottom of the shelf section is incredibly hard to do accurately. The offcut from the 9.5" radius has proved to be indispensable.

Bad example of the work. My first attempt on my strat.
Heres the top view waiting to be shaped for the offsets.

Heres the basic shape of the thing.

Heres a side view you can just see that my attempt to radius the shelf was slightly off by the gap between the top of the fretboard and the underside of the shelf section.

Thankyou for helping me and hopefully my hoppo out with those gauges. You wouldnt belive how easier my life has become.

Good luck with your projects nikininja!

I've found that no matter how good you are...you always need a little luck.
