Is there a site to get information about setting up a bass (Precision)?
I'm a Strat player and unfamiliar with setting up bass guitars.
Thanks,

Thank you so much for the information. Now I'll know where to look.
Last little question:
How do you tell the Neck Radius??
Mexican '95 Precision...
Have a nice day,
Byron

There are several schools of bass setup. The one Chet gave you is one school. If you don't have mechanics feeler gauges and some of the other tools required for the Fender method and even if you don't know the neck radius you can still get a playable set up. Click DO IT YOURSELF SET UP AND MAINTENANCE on the link in my forum signature below. I have had good luck with the Gary Willis method for a fast setup.

Here is a set of neck radius gauges. Print and cut out:

Thank you Dave and Chet. I've set up my Strats many times and am now confident that I can set up the P with no problem.
Have a nice day all!
