In case of fire or earthquake, I've prepared my own emergency evacuation plan based on these 5 "P"'s:

1. People (needed to assist with #2 below)
2. Precision Basses
3. Pets
4. Photos (of Precision Basses)
5. Plastic (Credit Cards to replace non-surviving Gear)

Don't let your Fender Gear get stolen or damaged!!!

That's probably the greatest evacuation plan I have ever heard

I can just picture Twin Reverb Amplifiers, Speaker Cabinets and Hardshell Guitar Cases being dropped from FEMA helicopters into New Orleans' French Quarter. But these items not recommended as floatation devices.

that has to be the best evac plan of all time. i can see the people in new orleans with their basses on the roof with them and when they come to rescue them, they hand over the bass before they themselves get in.

I suppose pets may have to be given some consideration.

which is why I don't own any pets.

but I'd still have to choose which axe to save -- I live alone.

this is all kinda sad...it's giving me a headache.
