How would I go about installing a pickup cover and a finger rest on one of these?

I have no problem drilling my instrument, I just wouldn't know how to go about doing it.

Just look on eBay. They sell tons of those. That is where I got my pickup cover. Think I paid around $14 for it. Then just get some wood screws, drill some pilot holes and screw them on. Can't get much easier then that! In fact I even left the pickguard on, since it already has the holes, makes a good guide. I put mine on not for looks, but I use it for a place to anchor my thumb, rather then putting it on the pickup itself. Also if you place slap, installing the thumb rest will get in the way.
