I have a 2000's Precision Bass
The bass plays fine but I didn't notice my stand had scratched the back of the bass in a few places.
Is there a cheap way to get the scratches out without ruining my bass, or will i have to live with it?

If the scratches on your bass are only in the clear coat of the finish, you may be able to buff them out with some rubbing compound.
Meguiars sells automotive rubbing compound that will do the job, go to your local auto parts store and buy some.

There are different abrasive values to compound so do some research and learn how to use it before trying it on your bass.
