Looked at the list on the support page here as well as a few other sources and can't find a wiring diagram for the P-Bass with the S1 (series/paralell) switch.
Can anyone help?

Here is the S-1 American Precision Diagram you seek: http://www.fender.com/support/diagrams/pdf_temp1/basses/0193260_62A/SD0193260_62APg2.pdf

I found it on the main wiring diagram page at:
http://www.fender.com/support/wiring_diagrams_parts_lists.php

Then you look for your diagrams labeled as:
American Precision Bass® Upgrade 019-3260/62 05/13/04

Good luck!

Thanks Dave, I was just going to PM you, I thought you would know where to find it. But thought others would benifit from the answer.
Next question, how about the pickup wiring?
The diagram shows four pickup wires instead of the usual two.
I'm thinking of changing out the pickups on an S1 model and wondered what I was going to see before opening everything up.

BrotherDave is wise!!!

There are 4 wiring points on most P-bass Pickups. There are two wires from each half of the split coil pickup. There is one wire that runs from pickup to pickup. You will have to cut this wire and splice and solder in an extension from that wire that runs from pickup to pickup. Then you'll have four wires.

That's what I suspected. The wire that runs between the split coils, is that positive or negative? I guess a better question would be hot or ground. It will most likley be easy to figure out once I pull the guard off and trace the existing wiring.

Eye, there the rub. One is hot and one is ground because the pickup is out of phase for humbucking purposes. LOL

The wire when cut from the superior pickup half toward the neck is HOT. The wire you cut from the inferior pickup half toward the bridge is GROUND.
