That is a Fender Zone bass, formerly called the Precision Bass Lyte.

They are quite nice and they tend to be a lighter in weight and they have active electronics. Its a nice version of a Fender bass.

Yes, that's a P bass Lyte (zone). A Warwick is nowhere near correct.

Made in Japan I believe. They are supposed to be pretty nice. Never played one myself though. The natural finish on this one is gorgeous and almost looks like the "Elite" treatment.

We'll find out how it is...I just bought it from GC in Grand Rapids for 350.00.
They are shipping it to me. I will post back and let you know.

Going to be for my wife, she decided she wanted to learn to play something.

I talked her into trying the bass, because she's got a lot of funk for a middle aged white girl ...not to mention really long fingers. ;-)

Wow, that is great. Females that play bass are usually very good. I saw this young lady bassist on the Jimmy Fallon show the other night on NBC and she was amazing. The only bad part was she was playing a Jazz.

I think your wife will like this one. It is compact and light but has a full 34" scale. Some really great basses come from Japan.
