On the TV show Bernie Mac, I thought I saw a bass guitar in Bernies Den (when he's talkin to America). Does anyone know what it is, where or who it came from? Much appreciation

Fender Standard P-bass I think it was. I think it had the white Strat type knobs with the numbers on them that they used until the hardware upgrade about 6 years ago and a rosewood board. It probably came from the prop department at 20th Century Fox Studios where the show was taped. It was red as I recall. I've not seen the show in ages, but I remember seeing the guitar on the wall. Mr. Mac didn't play bass so far as I know.

I'm not so sure of that.
It has the tugbar (below the G-string) and looks like regular
P-bass knobs.

And no, my memory isn't that good, I just saw the red bass on the show a few minutes ago.
