Hi guys! I own 2 an dluxe pbass and i wanted to modify d other one.
Can i change d pre amp?
Can u suggest any modifications?pre amp n pick up brands?

What problems are there with it? If it ain't broke...

But anyway, here's a suggestion - covert it to passive using something like the 1960 Jazz bass wiring diagram. Enjoy a bass that doesn't need a battery!

I changed my pickups to the USA Fender '62 originals for the p and left the USA Noiseless in. I swapped out the electronics and bought 3 CTS pots (2 audio taper (vol) and one linear taper (tone) and all new push-back cloth wire and a .047 orange drop cap and made them passive. I also installed a toggle/cut-off switch. Basically wired them like a Jazz bass.
Basses sound just like I had planed they would.
