Why we make a website for only bass players. It could have fourms and and jokes and reviews. It could have advertisements people put up to sell their equipment. And we could have advertisements for brands (fender, gibson, ect) or even businesses (basscentral, bassemporieum, ect) and they pay a small fee just to keep the site running.

Just an idea I was throwing out there, Brad I am not tring to take away from fender those were just examples, and plus we would have to talk to the CEO(or something like that) of the company to do that.

And I'm not going to make profit off of this and if I do I'll give it to some charity or something...I don't know. Like I said just an idea.

Well that is sort of where I want to go eventually with my Bass site. It is new just online about 6 weeks ago. I'm just one guy. I have a family, a full time job and I'm in a band. That doesn't leave a lot of time to build classifieds, write jokes, do reviews, sell advertising, etc. I also lack lots of the skills to do it and I don't have a fortune to spend on it. In fact I'm still working on some parts of it. Mostly at this point it is a Resource page. But eventually....who knows?

Good ideas though.

A fantastic site you have put together Dave. Thank you for sharing that with us.
Your history is quite a read. I am happy that our paths have crossed.
You are an extremely knowledgable person who is willing to share.

Thanks Zod. I figured it is time to pass stuff on to the up and comers. I'm not going anywhere beyond where I am now and who knows how far the younger folks can go?
