Greetings, I was wondering if anyone out there has a wiring diagram for the crafted in Japan Precision Lyte Bass.
I have one deluxe and one non working standard.
I thought I would be able to open up the deluxe and copy that on the standard but the harness and boards are 2 different animals.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have spent the last 6 hours trying to wing it and am about to lose my mind!

Thanks in advance, Len.

O.K. - I am now going into the eleventh hour of trying to find a wiring diagram for the Lyte. After doing a search in this forum I see this question has been asked before to no avail, sooooo...........

I just bought another on ebay. ( When push comes to shove...)
Figure it will reach me by Thurs.

So here's the plan, I draw my own in cad and put them on ebay for a
hundred bucks a pop. Should be sittin' well in a year or so......maybe I
could retire to Fla. or Az..

Naaaa! I'll probably just post it here and maybe send it to Fender seeing
that it's one of the few models thats not included in their diagram section.

But seriously, I will post it here. O.K. have to go record now.

Did these have EMG PUPS? If so, EMG might be your diagram source. I've seen several of these and I seem to recall that more than one had EMG Pups which would probably mean EMG electronics too. Good Luck!

Thanks for the suggestion. The pickups resemble EMG's but were made by Fender Japan.

I purchased another on ebay , opened it up and rewired the first one.
Fender sent me all they had which included 3 hand drawn wiring diagrams. None of the drawings showed the complete circuit.

I am drawing a complete diagram today and will have it done on auto cad. Will send one to fender and post it here so all who have this problem ( quite a few from my research on the net ) will have a source to repair theirs.

Thanks again Chet. I've been talking with Fender support and they are very considerate and pleasent to deal with. After 27 years of buying Fender product this is the first and only problem I've had with their product.

Hi Lenzman, Once you finish your drawing, please visit http://brotherdave.com/contact.htm and email a jpg or gif of your final drawing to the email address posted there so I can post it on the Resource Page there also. Just let me know how you want the drawing credited and I'll post it there also. Thanks!
