Olympic White is an off white. Play one while wearing a white t-shirt and you'll see the difference. What's great about it is (unlike my darker colored basses) it doesn't show fingerprints so I'm never compelled to polish it!

I checked the color chart and the olympic white on it doesn't look like an off-white...

It's ok though.. But I'm just not old enough to appreciate the vintage looking of my bass..that why I chose olympic white...

By the way. I guess there's no consensus about whether olympic white is an off-white or the arctic white is the off-white color..The arctic white looks yellowish on the color chart though... Does anyone own a olympic white bass and could explain why??

Thanks..

Here's a pic of my Olympic White Jazz Bass. (It's the website pic from The Perfect Bass where I bought it, but not a stock photo --- it's my bass.)

It looks bright white in this picture but not in person, it's got a slight cream color to it that you notice (as I said above) if you put something white against it like a white t-shirt.

in November i bought a Olympic white American standard p bass also and i was thinking the same but through the months ive come to like the color compared to a bright white like on the mexican artic white p bass... its slightly creamier but i love it cant wait till it fades into a darker cream color :D but it is rare that when compared to the squire vintage modified p bass in olympic white the squire definitely has a brighter shade

Why don't you post a picture of your bass?

I agree with Mastermold.

To your eyes.

These 2 basses are Olympic White, the backgrounds are white.
They look exactly how they are supposed to look.
