I snagged mine for $700 from a gospel music store in Atlanta, back in 2000. It's transparent green. It had a mismatched saddle and was missing the fine tuners as well. I found a bridge on ebay, I think. It set me back $150. Mine is an '84 and I think the bridge is from an '83. My original bridge is pebbled on the sides, while the replacement is smooth. Love that bass, but it is heavy, 12+ lbs. Neck is a beast, too. I use it as my drop D bass.

I have a USA Std. 83- black with rosewood- one place near the bass side horn by the strap button has a spot where the paint has chipped off on its own. Good + condition, all original parts except one pot ( I saved the original) = $1000

It's kind of heavy but it's not bad- it has that 80's "clank" sound. Original case is a vinyl hard plastic type that's not all that great but it has a big Fender logo molded into it.

I would imagine an Elite would be a bit more than a thousand here where I'm at in the same condition.

I have not tried them my self so I don't know if the fit.

Interesting. When I got the second bridge for mine, I was going to do a partial swap - 1 saddle and the fine tuners - but the fine tuners didn't fit my original bridge. Don't know if it was a size or thread issue. As I stated in a previous post, the two bridges are slightly different. I'm tempted to pick some up, just for the hell of it.
