Hey Guys! Eric Here!

I'm Normally a Jazz Bass Player..

But I think it's time for me to invest on a Custom Shop of my own Specs.

I'd just like to get some pointers and advice on what I made have done
wrong or may have done correctly :) Some comments will be nice..
good or bad :D

PS. One Unique feature (ERF) I mite take out.. cause yeh.. it mite be abit
to "trying-hard" like.. I aint no Stevie Ray.. lol.. but yeh.. i went hard out.

(just sent this to fender 2day for a quote.. im guessin round 6 to 7 grand)

Fender Precision Eric Bass

Colour: Olympic White
Body: Select Lightweight Alder
Neck: Quartersawn Maple, C-Shape, "Nitrocellulose Lacquer Finish"
Fingerboard: Round Laminate Maple 7.45* Radius (184mm)
No. Of Frets: 24 Vintage Style Frets (if possible)
Pickups: 1 Vintage Precision Bass Split Single-Coil Pickup (Middle)
1 Humbucking Pickup (Bridge)
Controls: Master Volume, Pan Pot, 3-Band Active EQ with:
Treble Boost/Cut: +/- 10 db @ 8kHz, a shift in the cut frequency, and about a 2dB $@!&# per octave.
Mid Boost/Cut: +10dB, -15dB @ 500Hz, and a wide band $@!&#.
Bass Boost/Cut: +/- 12 db @ 40 Hz, with a 4dB $@!&# per octave.

The idea is fine but to get an actual custom bass from the CS is a pricey affair.

i bet u almost anything they wont do the

"fendereric" thing and its kinda lime adding ur name after fender just think i would be "fenderthomas" or "fendertommygunn"

but who am i to say

and the relic thing...NO!!!! relic it yourself, plus it just costs more

then it becomes more of my bass.. than trying to be something else..

it was just a lil dream.. u know.. who doesnt want a Vintage 60's bass dat
looks like its been bashed and bruised for years..

but i see wat u mean :)

but the Fenderic.. T_T was my favourite part lol..

and eric cause of copyright n' stuff they most likely wouldnt do the "fendereric"

and the dream isnt crazy just very bad gas :roll: happends to me all the time

but hay sounds like a good blueprint all i can give is a description of my dream CS

hey its nm but i gotta get the specs figured out, so if CS finds me and sees how good i am... you know be prepared!

its a 53'p bass with a QP split coil (not a single coil) in seafoam green with a brown tort pg and a badass2 bridge flamed maple neck, head, fingerboard with mother o perl block inlays (yes i know kinda strange combos for a p bass) oh yah and a QP jazz bass pup for the bridge pup
