They still have the Pino Palladino model but the '59 reissue is gone and nothing's in its place. (Really glad I got my '59 last year and didn't wait.)

Anyone know what the plans are, if any, for another CS model?

And the Pino Palladino is the only P-bass that they offer presently.
I currently am not interested in the CS, but maybe in the future.......
That is disappointing news, and may possibly turn a few people away.

I think the price hike will do that.

So no one knows what's happening with the CS line of Precisions?

It already did -- February 1.

Some places are still listing the old prices on old stock, but anything new stock is going to be a grip.

Hey Theo, I've seen your CS pics over at talkbass -- I bet you've got at least one of every CS bass Fender has made! Rock on bro!

I just love em......
Quiet a pity they don't make any CS P-basses these days (for now..)
Maybe they have some bass to come out very soon.........

I have a Pino, a 1955 NOS in white blonde, a 1959CC CS and a 1964 CC CS Jazz (somewere lying around cause I'm not a Jazzbass lover)
Also the American Vitage series (not every colour but shure every model)

The last newbe is a Road Worn P-bass.
It has a better price/value then the 59CS.
These Road Worn basses are much to good for the pricetag.....
If these basses were shipped to Corona and got a stamp made in USA
on the headstock everybody would buy these basses but then FMI would have a legal problem......

Too bad for Fender!!!

Cheers,

Theo

Take a good look at the tuners......doesn't say this anything???????

Yeah that does look as good as the CS relic jobs I've seen, at least the pic does. I've not seen a RW bass in person.

Where did you get the RW bass? I have only seen the RW guitars in the Washington D.C. area. :?:
