Has anyone else done any home recording with their P-Bass ?? I've done bits of studio stuff here and there but was really surprized / impressed with the sound from a basic home setup - my Fender standard p-bass guitar with a 1/4 inch jack converter to plug it into my mac laptop.

Ultimately I then pushed the envelope and recorded my band - therefore guitar, drums and vox (sung by me!) ... we recording 11 tracks, ten of which were done straight into Garageband. (track 5 we recorded at a demo studio)

I put some effects and things through garageband, and always had new strings where possible, but I really was blown away by the sounds of my Fender bass - and a not bad overall band sound for a DIY recording studio really - it exceeded my expectations!

I've been playing a standard p-bass for around 8 years, and would like an American version one day, but for the time being I am more than satisfied.

Anyhow, have a listen and see how you think the bass sounds! :D
All feedback welcome, thanks Paul

Good stuff, great job with that P-bass. I liked your tone on "Delay", and I liked the intro on "Mystery Novel". "Latent Image" & " I Hate You" sound like cool songs.

Yea, good stuff here Frostyb.

If I was standing in a pub and you were playing live I'd be having a good night. I'll save this lot into my music library (with your kind permission, of course) and if anbody asks me what's playing I'll say it's some music I've had specially imported :)

cheers
Andy.
