I HAVE A 70'S WALNUT P BASS. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE ORIGINAL PICK-UP WAS ? IT HAS AN EMG IN IT NOW, AND I HAVE NEVER BEEN SATISFIED WITH THE TONE I GET OUT OF IT. I GOT IT USED, AND WOULD LIKE TO TRY THE ORIGINAL, OR SOMETHING BETTER. ANY COMMENTS WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

You could/should try the Original '62 P-bass pick-ups.
