I would rather create all those worn spots and dings myself. My local Guitar Center had some Tele's and Strats but no Worn Basses. I'd have to see one to really create an opinion.

Hi there,

I just got one in: it's a 50s P-Bass with 2 tone burst.
Killer sound, extremely light an very authentic compared to mt CS 59 P-Bass.

So you like the MIM Road Worn better than your CS 59?

Maybe I need to rethink these RW basses ...

I dont but there is not so much of a different.......... to good for the price tag!

These roadworn basses would have trown away the P-Bass customshop models by being far to good for the price tag.

IMO Fender should come out with A: a super CS Relics series B: or get the Road Worn production over to Corona in a some sort of " American Vintage Classics series" don't you think...??

The Mexican Road Worn series are to good and the CS models were to expensive: the problem is the big gap>>>!!
