Yeah Pino has been a big influence on my playing since he joined John Mayer. Great player and I dig his tone with the red P-bass!

Yep, couldn't agree more - it's also for me his phrasing that underpins the JM stuff and alot of the session stuff he's done.

Yeah he's not a wanker. When he plays a lot of notes, they're the right notes for the song at the time and place he puts them in.

No.... I mentioned Chris Squire on page 2.... I would list Flea as a funk bassist... but just my opinion.
