Man, CHOICE! I like the musicmans and I'm glad to find someone else on the fender website that likes them too. Though not a huge fan of fretlesses, you should be proud to call it your own. By the way, how old are you? I thought I was, like, the youngest on here. What country are you based?

wazzup im most likely younger but...

well im 12 and from texas, united states

started playing bass when i was like 9 so i got an early start

well i love ernie ball, didnt use to though but this bass changed it all, they are de-bomb lol

and fretless is so fun u gotta try it on a real bass, not a squire (no offence but squire isnt my 1st choice), a real fine work of art (like mine) and really sit down (1-3 hours) and your whole look on it changes

well nice to meet someone that might be close to my age

names' Thomas friends call me tommy(gunn),hints the screen name, and thomas (they pronounce it: Tee-home-ah-niss) lol

Don't think like that Tommy, just keep playing and loving it. You will be a great bassist one day, not saying that you suck now but you know what I mean. You are still so young, by the time you're 18, you should be a bad $@!. Just keep playing.

Well tommy, I don't know about being that close to your age, I'm seventeen tomorrow, but it's gotta be closer than some of these other dudes. It's good to meet other young players. I'm in New Zealand. Ypur gonna feel bad but I actually have a squier! It's not a bad bass, pretty cheap but plays well. My brother has a real precision, and he reckons it plays just as well which is good news! I'm gonna give it a custom paint job soon. It's gonna rock!! Cause right now it's only bog standard red with a white pick guard. It'll look mean 8)

Hi Tommygun,

WELOME to the P-Bass forum.

How do you like that compact Cube amp? They look every interesting but I've never tried one. The big Roland bass amps sound pretty good. Dave

Hi BrotherDave I have been on the P-bass fourm for a while now, just never had any BIG news to share (just fyi). I like the fine, it is a nice amp, just not for 200 smackers. I blew one of the speakers 'cause I had the gain and volume all the way up (to 11 lol). I was being crazy and gettin' all geezer and the speaker busted. The bult effects are ok, it comes with chorus, flanger, and t-wah with delay and reverb. The chorus is ok when I do nirvana type stuff and the flanger sucks, so does the t-wah. I rarely use delay and I hate using reverb. All in all I would have been better off with a $200 david eden.
