So I was given a Squire P bass from a friend after telling him the heart warming story of how my 7 year old wants to catch the tooth fairy and hold her hostage for a bass like mine. Mark told me that he had an old squire that was kinda beat up but would give it to me for her. So, kinda beat up was an understatement. The body was chipped, dented and dinged and next to the worst chip "$@!&" was writen on it. I can't give that to my littel girl. It was spray painted white on the front and had some VH like paint job on the back. After stripping it to the origional blue and filling the holes it's a nice bright red. Problem is in a few days when I go to load the pickups back in I've found that the black wire (ground?) that runs thru the body from under the bridge to the pot area is not connceted to anything. Please let me know where that wire connects to so I don't have to rip apart either of my basses.

Thanks guys!

This Forum is still in it's infancy and slowly growing. Brad the Man is a busy man and has started to extend the hours more and more. It's all good here.
