Maybe a dumb question but I have noticed that the webpage for each model has a link for the Fender Color Chart.

Does that mean that one could actually order any bass in any color? I do realize that it is gonna cost more. If anyone has insight, I'd appreciate it.

thanks a bunch,

Jeff

I think the color chart link is to see the color that the bass is available (as an example). Depending on the series the color availability will be different .

True...

For example from the Fender American Standard Strat. Specs.:

Colors (700) 3-Color Sunburst,
(705) Olympic White,
(706) Black,
(712) Candy Cola,
(747)** Sienna Sunburst, (Ash Body),**add $100.00 for Special Wood Requirements,
(755) Blizzard Pearl,
(769) Charcoal Frost Metallic,
(Urethane Finish)

The link: http://www.fender.com/products//view_sp ... r%26reg%3B

You would then use the color chart to see what the number/color look like.

Thanks Guys,

That makes sense.

What does not make sense however is that there is not an image of all color combinations avail on Fender's OWN WEBSITE!
