Just a Boss OC3 to go below E on the one or two songs I need to. Otherwise, just a TU-2 and a Samson Airline radio rig.

I use a Barber Electronics Linden E.Q. straight into a power amplifier (though it was designed to used a typical pedal). My Fender bass never has sounded better. It is just a very simple two band equalizer based on an old Ampeg tone stack (flip top tone). Though integrated with a modern amplifier, it has the power & speaker control (higher damping & slew rate) dictated by the specifications of the modern rig with the dynamics & super friendly & easy to use control of the simple, recording quality clean two band eq. You can't make it sound bad with the Fender bass and Linden combo, just different (speakers, power amplifiers or bass head/combos, cables, strings, styles, etc...) :D

I currently use....

Boss Bass Overdrive
Boss Bass Chorus
Boss Bass Synth (with Roland EV-5 Expression pedal)
Jim Dunlop Bass Crybaby Wah
Electro Harmonix Small Stone Phaser
Electro Harmonix Double Muff
Beringher Ultra Flange Flanger

That's what is mainly used on my pedal board.

Effects on the bass, in my opinion, aren't very necessary. However, we just had a guitar player pull up stakes and quit, totally unexpected. The worst part was he didn't play the gigs he committed to....

So as a newly found 3 pc lineup, I put a Boss Chorus on my Musicmaster, with the rate set about 1/2, and only use it to juice up/fill up the bottom end when our guitarist is soloing. It seemed to help.
