Hey hey all,

Does anyone have any idea what Gauge strings would have been fitted to the above Mexican made P-Bass? :?

Recently picked one up for a decent price in a local guitar store mega-sale, still strung with the originals!

They are OK and will last a little while would just like know for future reference!!

Chances are...the Fender Super Bass 7250ML.
Gauges: (.045, .065, .080, .100).

That is what Fender uses on the Standard Series basses.

But you can put on whatever guage you like. Just may have to adjust the neck a wee bit.

Yes. This agrees with the specs for this bass found here:

"Chances are" is a good way to put it. Specs are subject to change without notice. I bought a new Jazz about 3 years ago and a set that has a taperwound E string was specified as standard issue but this bass didn't have the taperwound E string on it when it came out of the box. But I didn't care. LOL.
