For me its gotta be Maiden, listening to them (and indeed learning the songs) is most likely what encouraged me to develop into the player I am today...

Otherwise I'm a huge fan of a scottish band called Teenage Fanclub (nothing like maiden in any way, just love them tho!!) and of course my own band - PEACHFUZZ!!

I would have to say blink 182. yes the bass lines are pretty simple but what he sings and plays at the same time can get hard.

I'm strictly old school, AC/DC, IRON MAIDEN,BLACK SABBATH.
Nowt wrong with the new bands but i'm sticking with what i know.
If it hadn't been for HARRIS/BUTLER/WILLIAMS/CARTER,then i would'nt have picked up the bass in the first place.
