I just bought a used 2017 American Professional Precision bass, 3 color sunburst with mint pickguard. I haven't even got it yet, it is being delivered this Thursday, but I am already bent on replacing the pickguard with a nice tort. I understand that Fender does not sell left handed pickguards so I will probably need to find a knockoff. Any ideas where I can get a descent looking tort? Some that I have seen online do not look that great. I appreciate the help.

Thanks I am familiar with those sites. Pickguard Heaven for some reason I can't find any P-Bass pickguards. Its drop down menu has only 1 category named bass and it returns 3 telecaster basses.

WD and Warmoth do not show actual Pickguards just graphic representations and a disclaimer that says that this might not be what the actual pickguard will look like. I will probably have to go go with one of them though since I do not see many other options. Anyway I am not in a rush since I will not be changing the pickguard right away.

Chandler (aka "Pickguard Heaven") offers the most attractive and realistic-looking tortoise-shell pickguards to be found. Remember, true Fender tort guards are 4-ply......white/black/white/tort.

I'll e-mail to them.
