Hi all, I'm new to this site but hoping you can help me please.
I live in the UK but I'm finding it difficult to locate a genuine white scratch plate (pick guard) for my 1972 precision.
Could you lovely people help. Kind regards

If by "genuine" you mean "it really was made in 1972", your best options lay with ebay & such. And check talkbass.com; there have been a couple of original, used pickguards for sale - for about 200-250 IIRC.

For modern copies of the original, have you checked this shop: https://www.emma-music.com/-wd,us,4,WD-PB-404.cfm

I originally did mean a 72 version but wow they're a bit costly....going to take your advice and go for a modern copy. Thank you for your help.
