These have been out for a while and are a 'P/J' configuration. $1,199.99 is an excellent price for a Made In USA bass. As always Pete Griffin does a stellar job on this new official Fender video.

On this Japanese video this cat really grooves! Playing both Jazz & Precision Performers through a Fender Super Bassman & 610 Bassman Neo cab. These videos really show off the sound of not only the basses, but the amps and the stock Fender 7250M stringset too.

Indeed! Given the very different styles of bass players, what is really striking is the sound quality of the $900 Stage 800 using the Super Bassman preset vs a real $3,000 Super Bassman rig. My $400 Studio 40 sounds just as good! 8)

Yeah, not to mention the additional weight and maintenance of having an all tube amp.
