Does anyone have any information about the specs on the Mod shop P-basses? I know the new American Professional P-bass has tall narrow frets and a bone nut. What about the Mod P-bass? There is little detail on the website.

It is dependent upon which neck you choose as to which frets and nut you get.
I have a lefty American Professional and I love it as is.

Yes talking about the American Professional neck. Does it come with bone nut and tall narrow frets on the mod shop models? Being left handed also you know how limited we are in choices. Saving for an Olympic White American Professional precision bass now but I am a bit worried since they don't make that many I may be forced to go to the more expensive Modshop option and I want to make sure that they are the same specifications on the neck.

You can always call Fender and ask just to be sure, but it stands to reason if you choose the American Professional neck you will get the tall narrow frets and bone nut. To me the only compelling reasons to go Mod Shop is to get a non-standard color; pick guard, and neck combination. Sweetwater has 3 lefty American Pro Precisions in Oly White right now

This is exactly what I have, and it has become my favorite bass.

Glad to hear that !! Can't wait till one myself. Only thing I will change is the pick guard from the mint to a black. Other that that having fumbled with a right handed one at Sam Ash and at a Guitar Center I have to say it is a beautiful instrument.

The mint pick guard is really beautiful in person. I'll never change mine. Here's a link to a 'New Bass Day' review I wrote on talkbass.

I have seen it. I was actually in GC few hours ago playing fumbling with a right-handed one. I am not crazy for it I have seen pictures of a few with black pick guard and I love it. I actually have a picture as the background on my computer.
