34 inch scale, rosewood fretboard, split pickups and only two controls to fiddle with. What is not to like about that P-Bass? What color is that blue called, that isn't aguave blue is it?

ALso how do you like that Laney amp? They sure have been around a long time and yet I've never tried one.

brother dave, the colour is electron blue but the pickguard/scratchplate was resprayed by me because i hate black or white scratchplates, the scratchplate is sky blue and it looks so much better.

Painting the pickguard is something that used to get done a lot back in the 70's and 80's.

So, tell us about the Laney amp?

I recently bought the laney amp, its a 4x10 (obviously) and the fella i bought it off used to gig with it, i think its about 16/20 years old and it sounds awesome.
I have only been playing about a year but have recently been jamming with some mates of mine who are seriously good guitarists, and they have mentioned a band in the pipeline.
I am 40 years old so im not young but as they say "your never to old to learn"
I'm loving every minute of it and you just cant beat having a bass in your hands (i would be lost without one)

I went through a period where I didn't play with anyone regularly but did fill in or short term things. Playing with the same people longterm makes a real difference. I got in my current band about 4 years ago. It is really going well. This is my last band probably. I hope your project goes just as good!
