These pics show the bass with the EMG active pups that came with it. They actually sounded pretty decent, but I don't want to worry about a battery, and I'd have to take the PG off to change the battery. Nah!
I found a deal on a loaded PG with early 2000's, (2003-2006) Am Std pups. Trying them out for a while. At home they sound a little quacky for my taste, but will judge them at my next gig. I set the bass up and it plays/feels really good. It's light weight too so that's a plus. If I din't like these pups I'll get some CS 60's for it.

I really like the sound of the CS60's in my Am.Std Precision, & can't see myself ever swapping them out :D 8) .

I have CS60's in my MIJ Jazz bass and I like them really well. I'd been looking at CS60's or Fralins for the Precision and found a loaded guard pretty cheap on eBay, so I'm trying them out. Maybe I should have got the CS from the start.

Thanks Paul.
It's a player too. The body has a satin finish on it and the neck is sweet.
