Well, at least at the end you could say you had one hell of a ride. I'd say you did a lot of stuff, and been through it, too. The 60's were certainly the pivotal point to where the music started, as far as rock goes. Sure, there's earlier influences that go back further, like the blues and all of that, but that's when it probably really just took off.

Things didn't always go the way I thought, or wished they would've, but I did it my way.

That was a thing that I never thought would've gone past 20 years old. Funny how life goes.

Well, considering there was that whole Southeast Asian vacation thing, I imagine that was a distinct possibility. The odd thing is now you could go there for a real vacation, since they decided they like capitalism after all.

Image I'll take a big pass on that one you don't mind. I still have the occasional demons come, and go at night from that place.

Yeah, I can see why you'd want to avoid that. Ironically, it would probably be one of the safer places to go around there, with some of the terrorist trouble and all of that stuff going on lately. I suppose there's some BS always going on somewhere. Have you noticed most conflicts, wars, and that sort of thing usually happen in hot climates?

I guess when the temps hit over 90 degrees, it pisses people off. :P

You may have something there, about the heat.

So, you think you'll ever be getting another one of these Precision basses, or you just want to stick with the Jazz basses?

Jazzes do seem to be best fit for me. I should stay with them.

I've been debated about a Fender Precision, but to be honest, I've been a lot more into Ibanez basses lately. I just really like the necks on them, either short or long scale.

It's not like Ibanez is new to making fine quality basses. I guess I'm set in my ways for liking, and playing Fender Jazzes. They're just a fine fit for me. Image

They are great, that's for sure. I've found I've had better luck with the feel of the Ibanez necks, but then again, I've been dealing with Squier models, and not the more expensive Fender models. I guess with any of it, it can also be a crapshoot. You could get a really good one, yet another of the same model could be bad, or need a lot of work. It's not always consistent.
