Hello good folks!, first post here!.
I think I need some help to find out the production date of my AVRI 57 precision. I took apart the neck and I see that the year of the neck is different than the year marked in the body. I think the neck says dec 07 1999 and the body says April 09 2000. Which one would you choose as the main date of the bass? And the bass seems really light, what jind of wood was use to make the body of these AVRI Basses?
Can somebody help me or point me in the right direction?
Cheers!

AVRI '57 P bodies were mostly crafted from select alder (except White Blonde, which employed premium ash).

Oh maybe that explain the light weight!:-). Thanks for your reply.

Last date/latest date is the deciding date.

The bass couldn't have been assembled in '99 since the body wasn't made until 2000.

Fender Customer Service should be able to give an exact date.
