I have a rather old Fender Squier II that I can't seem to find any info on. I know it's legit b/c my parents bought it for me when I was a kid. I'm trying to find out its value as I might sell it. Where can I research it?

Enter your serial number into guitar dater project dot org. They aren't perfect. Especially on Squiers or MIJ's. You could email your serial number to Fender and ask for all information which they may or may not have. Early Squiers were made all over the planet. The very first made in Ensenada, Mexico have a bit of collector value about equal to a new Squier. Yours is most likely worth half that, or somewhere around $150.

What is the serial. What is the serial location. Is the country of origin specified?

I'm guessing JerryC13 tried to register the instrument via Fender Product Registration Serial Number Search

That search engine works usually OK, but has some glitches and doesn't cover "everything Fender/Squier".
I checked it with a couple of Squier II, made in Korea/India serials, all came back with "Sorry, no results for..."

So, there is the ADD MANUALLY option on the page.
If that doesn't work, emailing consumerrelations@fender.com used to help with problems, recently they have switched to this Submit a Request page.
