Music man Sterling, Music Man 5, Geddy Lee Jazz and New Fender American P. 2 different Amp set-ups. Eden WT800 with 2 each 410 XLT cabs, and a Ampeg SVT Classic all tube with a SVT 810. I/m beginning to use the Ampeg more and more though. My take is that the Fenders sound better thru the Ampeg. I'll be sellng the Eden set-up which I have had since new in 96'. I'm playing Classic Rock and Blues.

I have a 08 Fender American Standard Precision bass in Olympic White which has faded in some spots and is yellow in others. It has the Fender 62' vintage pup and 3yr old TI Jazz Flats. I run it through my Acoustic B200 combo 1x15. Such a warm and rich tone!

My live rig is a G-K 550 Fusion head with a 4-12" NEO cab. I play a MIM P with a '62 RI p-up and a Maple/Oly White Am. Std. P., this rig really compliments these basses. At home I use my Rumble 100 2-10", which really is best suited as a practice amp. I used to use it on top of an ancient Peavey TNT 100 live, but it was about all they could handle.

I have a new Squier CV Jazz(with extremely figured neck)..and a fretless Sammick 4 string with American Fender P and J Pickups. The J happens to be very close to the Leo Quan Bad*** replacement bridge. The body is solid...not plywood like some Sammicks.

I play through a Fender BXR 300C. Lotta headroom in a medium sized rig.

I end up worrying about higher priced gear too much.

I am currently rocking an Ibanez BTB 676 for when I need to get progressive, haha. My 04 MIM Fender P just got (all of this is in gold, including screws and input jack) a Badass II bridge, Hipshot tuners, TUSQ nut, and some new fender knobs and neckplate to add to the pickguard and SD 1/4 lb'ers on it. Got it done 2 days ago, it effing awesome now. I run them both through a Fender Bassman 100 at home, great amp btw, love the fact that I can just plug in and have good tone period, its amazing when I dial it in. I use an Eden Nemesis 320 to power a Markbass 6x10 cab, the cab is awesome, excellent clarity. The head is alright I suppose for $300, got it used on internet recommendations. I had to dial it in for an hour or so but I did get a tone I like. And of course like a lot of you I also have an Ampeg, a BA300-210, but I outgrew it for the 6x10. I would sell it but it has been in service for the last 6 weeks, turned it on one day and it decided to sound horrible, was happy with it up until that moment.

Oh, and I currently have 2 Squier affinty P's with Fender MIM P/U's, one a 2000 in candy apple (?) red and the other a 08 in metallic (?) red and 2 Fender MIM's, one's a 01 in Ice Blue Metallic, stock. The other is a 04 in black with EMG P/U's and a tortise pickguard. But I won't be keeping any of them.[/img]

Hi

I use a new Fender Precision Bass Road worn series (just got it). a great bass, light and smooth to play, especially the type of music I like to play. My style is rather hard style. Anyway I use Mesa Boogie Walkabout Scout - the absolute best tone and power there is for a bass player.

Then I plug in my RAT and Big Bass Muff - that gives me the right tone and feeling.

stoner rock on,
