I just inherited the task to evaluate/sell a 71 fretless Precision with maple board. Is there a specific section on this forum?

Welcome! We don't allow selling on the forums here, but I'm sure some folks can help with an evaluation of the instrument if you want to in turn take that info and sell the instrument elsewhere.

You are going to want to have that appraised by George Gruhn of Nashville. https://guitars.com/appraisals

I would be happy to help you establish a value as well. Let me know, would need pics, etc. I like the early 70's fretless Ps. I have a 74 that is my favorite fretless P. Unfortunately, they do not resell for the value listed in price guides (for fretted instruments) as people are just not as accepting of a fretless instrument, but they still have nice value, and are a blast to play.
