Hi All from Singapore!
my 1st posting here.
I am looking for advise - I am thinking to change my stock white PickGuard from both my basses into other colors and I contacted Fender, they told me they do not make or sell replacement pickguard for both my MIM P Bass & J Bass. Is there anyone here who had changed the pickguard using other 3rd parties unit?
All advises are appreciated.

Hey THANKS!

I am currently using the MIM Standard Precision Bass and the MIM Standard Jazz Bass.

Will upgrade both to American Standards once I saved enough cash. :)

Thanks again!

Total bullshit!

Generally speaking, the MIM instruments (both basses and guitars) use parts patterned after their American-made counterparts. Thus, any MIA pickguard will fit your basses.

As long as the volume, tone, and output jack holes are in the right place, most Fender Precision PG's should fit most Precisions. There may be some exceptions, but not too many.
