What makes it look fake are:
1. The block inlays on the neck aren't the right color.
2. The markings on the back of the head stock are not any that I've seen Fender use.
3. You can buy water slide decals that say Fender Made In USA online.
4. Anyone could switch to EMG's but they aren't stock.

The decal markings on the back of the headstock are from a counterfeit headstock decal that should be on the front of the headstock. Some of them like "Trademark" and "Electric Bass" are from a Jazz Bass decal. Fender would never have done that. The patent numbers were always on the front of the headstock under the Fender logo. I would say this is a Tokai made bass which came from Japan with some aftermarket parts added and fake headstock decal applied. No stock Precision EVER had block inlays, only dots.
