Hi there, I recently got a Standard P Bass and want to change the pickguard with genuine Fender part but all I can find are ones with truss rod cutout which my bass does not have. I know its just an asthetic thing but does anyone know where I can get a Fender pickguard that will fit without this cutaway? I don't mind drilling holes but it will need to fit and other manufacturers pickguards seem so variable. Many thanks

You could try eBay if it has to be a genuine pickguard. When I had my MIM '08 Precision I went onto WD Music looked at the Standard selection, bought one and the holes matched good luck :) .

I've used WD pickguards in the past with excellent results. Can't say the same about the stuff that Allparts sells.
