I have been trying to find a cover for this make of pickup. I have asked around and have came up empty handed. Any advice for this?

I ask because the e and g are constantly catching on the top of the pickup.

I don't want to lower the pickup, I just wand the strings to keep from catching.

anyone asked about this one before?

I've never seen a cover that would prevent this anywhere. Maybe you could invent one?

This might be a technique issue or you need to use higher tension strings.

You also might try lowering the pickup away from the strings a bit.

You could try playing closer to the neck or the bridge instead of right over the pickup.

Putting a regular chrome vintage pickup cover on it won't fix this issue, but will force you to stop plucking right over the pickup.

Having these strings catch like that has been known to break the pickup. Try modifying your technique by plucking closer to the neck or the bridge and move away from the pickup.
