Not to bore you too much but my first lefty bass, a 1976 Fender Precision that I ordered in 1975, is now 40 years old!!!

I was jamming with some friends last Sunday and made that remark and the drummer said "I was a negative 1".

My Fender Rumble 200 was blasting out the deep end with the greatest of ease. A great day to be sure.

Congratulations on the Anniversary :D when you think how many people & material things, have come and gone in your lifetime & your first lefty Precision is still there and being used. Are you a righty who plays lefty? :?

Can't say enough good things about the Rumble 200 :D 8)

Well, I was 4 and had no clue what a Fender was. I could tell you about Batman or Star Trek, though. :P That's cool you've keep it this long. 8)

Thank You Shawn! I am a lefty that started out righty in 1970. Glad I made the switch as it is so much more natural. The Rumble 200 is now my daily player taking the place of my much beloved 2010 Rumble 75 modified neo combo.

Thanks Paul! I intend to write up a provenance on my Precision and Jazz. That way my son will have all the correct historical information when he goes to sell them after I am gone.

That sounds so long ago, 1970. I started playing bass in 1968, using a Kent 212 Combo. My bass was a dark red anchor, with no name. You do very well with your Rumble. Congrats on a 40 year run with your Precision.

You still play on your Rumble 350 stack?

Nice set up. I saw that over on Facebook, too. 8) By the way, you try the 12" speaker cab with your Rumble 200 yet?

Wow Linnin, 40 year old bass? I thought you were much younger, like me....lol. Kind of cool that you had that bass all these years. I wonder how many of us hang on to a bass for that many years. I bet not many unless they quit playing and tucked it away in the attic.

Congrats!

Steve

I know I never did, unfortunately with a couple of them.

I haven't had my '76 nearly that long, but I knew it was a keeper as soon as I got it:
