 Staff would like some help on the truth about this bass. I received an exchange proposal, in one of my basses through this , the more I researched and found nothing about this Precision Bass style with jazz bass pickups as I show in the pictures and I was suspicious. The done told me that is a model Corona II of a limited series . I googled it the serial and the information seems to be the year 94 or 95 serial is : N4123731 this bass is true ? Grateful for who can me clarify the doubts , let the pictures here .ImageImageImage

Guitar Dater Project returned this intel:
"Your guitar was made at the
Corona Plant (Fender), USA
in 1994 - 1995
Production Number: 123731"

I would suggest sending an email to consummerrelations@fender.com with your serial number and a request for 'all information'. Include a link to this thread if they want to see your photos. That should clear everything up.

Whenever I see a Precision neck on a Jazz bass body, I always think it's a parts bass but I am no expert.

It's a Precision Neck, on a Precision Body.

Emailing consumer relations was the best advice! Very few actual Fender staff poke their heads in here and mostly we are enthusiasts here. There are two possibilities. Consumer Relations reply may tell you if it is stock or it is modified as their replies often contain precise specifications. I have never seen this configuration before. If it turns out to be legit that would make me wonder that if there was a Corona II, what was a Corona I?

To me, it looks to be one of these: http://www.carrollmusic.com/squier-p-bass-green/ with a fake logo

I have to say, I've seen that bass somewhere before, but don't remember if it were a Squier or Fender. Could it also be possible someone put a 5 string Fender P Bass neck on that particular Squier body?
