Greetings! I am not sure if this is acceptable or not, but will give it a whirl. I have a 68 Tele in Pink Paisley. I am searching for a Blue Flower finish, not a reissue, a 68/9, to go with it. Having a heck of a time, and have only found three, all NFS, so I thought I would reach out to my forum friends. If you have one, or know where one is hiding, please PM me. I will stand tall for one in good condition.

If asking this question is against forum rules, please feel free to pull it down, no offense meant.

Steve

And it would always fondly remember Linningrad. :D

I have seen way more blue flowers than pink paisleys over the years. Nice paisley bass there. Assuming NFS means not for sale, but everything is for sale if the price is right.

You might want to try posting at Talk Bass if you have not already. Way more people looking to sell stuff over there.

I know Andy Baxter's in London had one for sale last month. It was an excellent example and totally original including a case in amazing condition and some case candy. Just checked and it is sold. Sorry. If I run across another will let you know. Very scarce as many were refinished or otherwise modified.

Thanks BD. Yes, I am listed at TalkBass and have been chatting with Andy Baxter. I missed that listing until after it was sold but checking to see if the new owner would like to flip it.

I appreciate your keeping your eye open. Greatly appreciated.

Best,
Steve

HI all. Still looking for the Blue Floral 68 Tele. No luck yet. If you know where one might be hiding, please let me know.

Upgraded the Pink Paisley with a custom strap. Turns out author Detlef Schmidt (51-54 Precision Bass) also works in leather.
